Greetings my friends; my wife and I were guests at Church of the Apostles in Fairfield Ct. Sunday. We spoke about our experiences on January 15 together to a 0900 bible study group. Then I delivered a message to the congregation during the 10:00 service. To begin with 1/2 way through the 0900 service a gentlemen presented me with a “Desert Storm” cap he had since 1991. I was speechless and of course; there was a moment when I felt a drop of sweat enter my eye and I got misty. If that were not enough, I met a young lady after the 10:00 service who had recently kicked a substance abuse habit. She made a decision to walk a different path Sunday morning! Well of course at that point sweat ran into both my eyes and I became more than misty. You know my fellow crash survivor studs and studettes; we just never know whose lives we impact when we share our story. I was honored to be in the presence of these folks; Rah!
Sweat in my tear ducts!

Mark,
I like your comment about sweat in the tear ducts! I have had similar experiences when I hvae been approached by people who share how they have been moved by our experiences. It is very difficult because many of these folks have been battling issues for a long time, and it is very moving to hear how they have turned a corner, made a change, or whatever. Keep on spreadin’ the goods news!
Mark, I saw you on TV last week in the Hudson. I am glad you are alright. AMAZING! God must have stepped in for a reason. Would love to talk to you. I’m married with grandchildren, living in Columbia SC. I still have family in Greenville. Write me. NATE.CROCKER@YAHOO.COM I don’t talk to many people from high school.
Your old friend, Nate
Mark,
I do not know if you remember me from Augusta Road Baptist Church in Greenville. It has been a very long time since we moved from Greenville to Atlanta in 1978. have reconnected with friends via facebook and David Simmons told me about your story. What an amazing story you have to tell, God is so good and I am sure he is using you and your story for his glory. God Bless you and your family.
